Dr. Brittany Coats, Nik Benko, Kiffer Creveling, Mitch Metcalf, Joseph Phillips, and Yousef Alsanea attended the 2019 SB3C conference in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania to present research from our lab to other bioengineers around the world. Nik gave a podium presentation on his work measuring the mechanical properties of the brain-skull interface. Mitch also gave a podium presentation on his high-rate fracture characterization of pediatric bone. Joseph presented a poster on the enzymatic characterization of the vitreoretinal interface. Kiffer also gave a poster presentation on the characterization of collagen fibrils at the vitreoretinal interface. Yousef attended his first SB3C conference. Fun was had by all and we learned a great deal of new science. We are looking forward to the next conference. Great job everyone!
